We partnered with Portia de Rossi at a pivotal moment in the development of her art-tech startup, General Public, a company built around a proprietary technology capable of dimensionally printing paintings with such precision, the printed work is nearly indistinguishable from the original. Every brushstroke, every ridge, reproduced in full brush work topography.

Our role was to pressure-test the strategy and refine the vision. We helped bring shape to the brand’s strategic foundation, designed a new ecommerce website, and developed a visual identity system to support both product storytelling and platform scalability.

Most notably, we named the printing technology — The Synograph — a term that was trademarked and adopted as the cornerstone of the company’s innovation story.

Our work helped clarify the brand’s structure, sharpen its communication, and elevate its presentation as it moved toward a partnership with Restoration Hardware.
