MASERATI
In 2005, while directing commercial work across the automotive category, we were given a rare opportunity: total creative freedom to make a car film of our choosing.
We chose the new Maserati Quattroporte V — an Italian design masterpiece, recently introduced to the U.S. market. The result was a fashion-inflected, cinema-driven piece — more art film than ad — capturing the car’s sensual presence through light, atmosphere, and motion.
The film gained attention within the industry and eventually reached the head of marketing at Maserati in Italy, who adopted the piece for use in Europe. It remains a singular project in our archive — a pure creative expression, designed for no one, and embraced by many.
